Not all C's are absorbed the same
1Please do your research A low PH balance is very important for efficacy. The only form of vitamin C that can be absorbed without a chemical conversion is L ascorbic acid. L-asorbic acid is not as stable but it's the only one that's been studied the most and it's the only one that your body can use without having to convert it. The one used in this product is the ester form and it's used because its stable. What causes the stability is when it's molecularly change and your body then has an extra step to convert it and this is why it's not able to penetrate and not as effective. They use this because it has a longer shelf life but not as good. I am glad I switched to Timeless or Paula's choice. Do your research

Vitamin C Ester+Ferrulic Brightening Complex
5I have purchased a competitor's C plus ferrulic acid product in the past. Perricone's serum, however, has a much more pleasing and fresh scent. It goes on smoothly and brightens my skin. It delivers increased clarity, as promised. I will definitely purchase this product again.

5So far I really love this rendition of Vitamin C Ester, it is stronger than the previous rendition.. Some reviews stated they don't like the fragrance  I really like it, smells very natural..

Swelling, inflammation and burns
1I used this product once and woke up with one of the eyes swollen shut, redness, inflammation and bringing around my eyes and chin. Extremely drying.

Love it!!
5I just bought for first time. Ive been using it for over a week twice a day with all my other Perricone products. My skin looks amazing. My sun spots are diminishing and my skin looks a lot smoother and firmer. Â Think this is my new favorite product. I went to buy more but the sale was already over. So shoot on that plan. I will be buying it the second it goes on sale again.I definitely suggest trying this product if you are in the fence. You wont be sorry. Thank you Dr Perricone!!

5I use my derma roller first, then cold plasma or vitamin c serum and then this serum. OMG!! I'm so excited, I no longer need to get LPL facials every year to keep my dark spots at bay. Within one week I saw an improvement with the overall brightness of my face. Even the dark circles under my eyes diminished. I HIGHLY recommend using a derma roller to increase the efficacy of the product cocktail. I got an inexpensive one from AMZN. Some have complained about the smell but I actually enjoy it.
