What does hyaluronic acid do?

Is hyaluronic acid good for oily skin?

Yes. Oily skin can still lack water, and hyaluronic acid provides hydration without heaviness or greasiness. It is lightweight, non-comedogenic and helps balance skin so it feels more comfortable.

Can hyaluronic acid cause dry skin?

On its own, hyaluronic acid should not dry out the skin. However, if it is applied without a moisturiser afterwards, especially in very dry climates, it can draw water from deeper layers of the skin instead of the air. To avoid this, always follow hyaluronic acid with a moisturiser to lock in hydration.

Does hyaluronic acid darken skin?

No, hyaluronic acid does not darken the skin. It helps maintain hydration, leaving the complexion smoother, plumper and more even in tone.
